However, after the first World War the place has not seen many visitors and this Kolmanskop has been trapped in time. In addition to this, the location is rumored to be highly haunted.

Remains of the SS Ayrfield in Homebush Bay, Australia

Homebush Bay was initially used as a ship breaking yard. This ship was owned by the Commonwealth Government and largely used to transport supplied American troops during the World War I. It was later that the ship was sold to the Miller Steamship Company Ltd. and renamed as Ayrfield. Once used to its maximum, the Ayrfield was sent to the Homebush Bay to be broken down where its hall still remains afloat.

No one likes a good amusement park go to waste. However, this one was brought down and broken and resulted in a failed attempt by China which was initially planning to construct a Disneyland. This abandoned area has been now taken up by farmers who have used the lands to plant cornfield. Currently, rumor has it that this forgotten spot will be used to setup a luxury product supermarket. All that remains now is a look alike of the Disney’s Cinderella’s Castle.

Holland Island, Chesapeake Bay

The story of the house and the man delineates the Chesapeake’s issue with climbing seas and sinking area.
